Savannah Music Festival
The Savannah Music Festival (SMF) is Georgia’s largest musical arts festival and one of the most distinctive cross-genre music festivals in the world. SMF is building a robust history on its devotion to living, vibrant musical traditions, regularly presenting commissioned works, unique and imaginative productions and rare regional appearances by renowned artists in jazz, classical, blues, bluegrass, gospel and other styles of American and international roots music. Artists collaborate, students and master musicians intermingle, vocalists showcase their talents and communities uplift and celebrate over seventeen specially conceived days and nights.

Georgia Historical Society

Georgia Historical Society
Chartered by the Georgia General Assembly in 1839, the Georgia Historical Society is the private, non-profit historical society for the state of Georgia. The oldest cultural institution in the state, and one of the oldest historical societies in the country, GHS fulfills its mission to collect, preserve and share Georgia’s history by presenting a variety of educational programs, authoring publications on Georgia and southern history, and by operating a library and archives at its headquarters, Hodgson Hall, a National Historic Landmark building in Savannah.

GHS is member-supported, has active, mutually beneficial relationships with dozens of local historical society affiliates across Georgia, and in recent years has become a recognized resource for national scholastic and media organizations.

Founded as a maritime history organization in 1975, the Coastal Heritage Society serves more than 150,000 people annually at our three historic sites: Old Fort Jackson National Historic Landmark, the Savannah History Museum, and the Roundhouse Railroad Museum.

Fort Pulaski

Fort Pulaski National Monument offer visitors daily interpretive programs including musket and soldier demonstrations, guided fort tours, and special ranger talks. Living History Days are presented every Saturday and include hourly cannon demonstrations.

Telfair Museums

Over the years the Telfair has become an invaluable confluence of arts, culture and history that reaches out to its audience through a diverse schedule of exhibitions and programs. Among the city's most-visited attractions, the museum has become even more popular with the opening of its third venue, the Jepson Center for the Arts.

Massie Heritage Center

Massie Heritage Center
The Massie Heritage Center is housed in three nineteenth-century Greek Revival buildings situated on Calhoun Square. Massie School served as Savannah's first public elementary school from 1856 to 1974 and continues to serve as a unit of the Savannah-Chatham Public Schools.
